Sergei Morozov is an opera director based in Berlin.

He graduated from the Russian State Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS, Moscow) as the music theater director in 2015. Since then, he has directed several shows, including “Aleko" by Sergei Rachmaninoff in Astrakhan (2023) and "Arianna in Nasso" by Nicola Porpora in Vienna (2017). 

Sergei Morozov worked as Assistant Director at the Bolshoi Theatre in 2020 and at the Novaya Opera Theatre in 2014-2016. Morozov is dedicated to promoting contemporary music in theater. He has collaborated with several theatres including Theater an der Wien (Vienna, Austria), Schauspielhaus Graz (Graz, Austria), Vaba Lava (Narva, Estonia), The Bolshoi Theater, Perm Opera and Ballet Theater, Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theater, Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theater, Novaya Opera Theater, Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre, Meyerhold Center Moscow and others. 

Morozov was the prize winner at the Ring Award'17 opera competition in Graz, Austria. Currently he has his Master Degree in Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin.
